Would you know, "this is an above ground pool?"
The above pool deck was a combination repair and rebuild. The only original part of this deck is the lower left side. The owners decided to replace their aging pool with a new smaller pool in size and gain some extra deck space.
When this project when completed it was truly a seamless transition and repair from old to new.
A custom walk-able access hatch was built into the floor for the equipment below the deck.
Another custom feature, was a small "lift out" section of flooring for accessing the skimmer at the pool's edge.
Materials Used All "ACQ #1 Grade Pressure Treated Lumber"
Location: Nutley, NJ
The deck above was a rebuild. The original deck was stripped down to the frame.
All flooring, stairs and railings were rebuilt with 100% composite "Exotic Rosewood Flooring" and White Railing.
Another outstanding seamless rebuild project complemented with an added-on extension to the left side.
The extension was designed to accomodate an addtional "free standing" entertaining area approx. 10'X13'.
The underside of the main deck was enclosed with PVC lattice and an access hatch for storage on the side.

Custom Lattice Fencing Enclosing Ground Level Composite Pool Deck
This lattice work spans 95' across the rear yard of the property and was built using heavy duty ACQ lattice and 2 X 6.

This project involved removing an existing masonary patio and extending the new entertaining area across the rear.
